 As you all know by now, high winds and dry conditions have contributed to the one of the largest fires in Lake Tahoe's history. What started as a large fire outside South Lake Tahoe, has now destroyed over 200 houses, over 2000 acres and is threatening much more. Fire crews from across the western coast have been rushing into the Lake Tahoe basin to do all they can to help. This site has been created by Lake Tahoe locals inorder to provide information, allow people to tell their stories, share photos/video and most importantly help in the recovery efforts by accepting donations.
